Autumn is the greatest season in the midwest! This past weekend was an example of perfect fall weather. Fancy That Studio had the honor of styling all of the printable items for a very special wedding. Any item that was printed on paper, was designed, constructed and placed for the couple by Fancy That Studio.
This is a lengthy post, but worth the read. There were so many special details and we want to make sure we cover all of them! Grab a cup of cocoa and settle in.
The location for the reception was stunning! The soiree was held at the Historic Concord Exchange in St. Paul, MN. The venue boasts rich history, beautiful oak and mahogany woodwork throughout, and even hosts several hotel rooms that can be booked by the wedding party. Even the restrooms were luxurious!
The entire style of the event took shape with the invitation. We designed the Historic Elegance invitation suite with the history and class of the Historic Concord Exchange in mind. Not to mention the bride herself is a sweet, kind hearted, and classy lady.
We are so happy for the Mr. and Mrs! Here is a look at their very spectacular day.
The invitation suite, Historic Elegance, is made up of six parts; invitation, four enclosure cards, typically a direction enclosure, accommodations enclosure, reception enclosure, two sided response postcard, and finally the pocket folder.
Guests staying overnight in the super luxurious suites were welcomed into their room with a gift package from the happy couple. Each box included two custom wrapped water bottles, two salty snacks, two sweet snacks, two fruit snacks, mint chocolates, aspirin and antacids for those who partied hearty, gum and a thank you letter.
Guests staying at the hotel down the road were given a goodie bag when they checked into their room. We printed the custom monogram Kelli designed directly onto a large paper lunch bag. The contents were similar to the guest boxes above. In addition to a welcome letter with the happy couples proposal story and a thank you message for sharing the big day, we included business sized cards reminding the guests of the courtesy shuttle times as well as information regarding the couples photo share site to upload all the fun candid pictures they would take during the festivities.
These welcome gifts set the tone for the rest of the weekend. Guests appreciated the goodies and felt the appreciation and love from the Mr. and Mrs. for traveling and the extra expense of lodging.
The wedding program was very personalized. Fancy That Studio is known for this format. We love to include photos of the bride and groom with the wedding party. The program also includes a dedicated page to Memoriam, remembering the loved ones who are no longer with us in body, but in spirit. Also included is a Gratitude page with a special note to the parents and grandparents, friends and family and any other special details the couple wants to share. And finally, a page at the end highlighting a photograph of the bride and groom (typically an engagement photo) along with a poem or quote.
